{A Load of Crock: Garlic Roasted Chicken}

{I thought we would start out with something simple and basic. Chicken is a really easy thing to make in your slow cooker and you can use it for a few great meals.}

1 small chicken that will fit in your crock pot
salt and pepper
crushed garlic
a few slices on butter
1/2 cup chicken broth

Stick your chicken in the crockpot and rub the inside and outside with a generous amount of garlic, salt and pepper. Put a few chucks of butter on top of your bird. Add the chicken broth to the bottom of the cooker and set to high for 1 hour. Then cook on low for 5-7 hours longer.

Mine cooked overnight and clicked over to warm after 8 hours then sat for another 2-3 hours til I got to it. You don’t really need to worry about over cooking because it will just make your meat super tender! Make sure your meat is fully cooked and not pink, and enjoy! It is really yummy! Be sure to hold on to the carcass for another recipe coming up soon! Trust me you will be happy you did!

{Just want to say THANK YOU for all the loving comments and support the last couple days! You guys are such great readers and friends! I'm really excited for this month coming up! Lots to share with you guys!}
