{sick day fix its!}

1 sick blogger = hours of googling cold is the wisdom I have gleened :) 

+ wake up at 9am to find your hubs is already down at Target buying you survival supplies

+ Cold Kickin' Soup

1 Tablespoon canola oil
1 chopped onion 
1 head of chopped garlic 
a bit of sea salt
4 cups vegetable broth
season with your favorite flavors

Heat canola oil
 Add onions and salt. Brown slightly.
After the onions cook for a few minutes, add  chopped garlic. Cook together for about 15 minutes.
When completely cooked, add water/broth/bouillon and seasonings(optional)
 Cover and turn  heat to medium high and bring to a boil.
 Reduce heat to medium low and simmer for 10 to 20 minutes.  The longer you boil the better
Remove from heat and cool.
Blend, eat and start getting over that cold.
