{make do monday: homemade vanilla chai}

{yum, yum, yummy! I have been addicted to chai lately but because of our budget commitment I have been looking for quick, easy and yummy ways to make it at home! I also have gone entirely decaf, which I am excited about! Partially for my general health and partially because we are wanting to get pregnant! I was pretty bummed at first when I couldn't find decaf chai concentrate but I finally found it! It was at Target for only 4 bucks!}

{For delish homemade chai, all you do is mix equal parts chai and milk! i like to toss in some vanilla syrup for a little sweetness, but if you don't want the added sugar just leave it out! This is an awesome way to save some dough! I'm lazy so I just microwave mine for a couple minutes, but you can do it on your stove top as well. If you arent a milk drinker, try it with soy, rice or almond milk! Instead of paying $4 at Starbucks for a grande chai latte I just made my own for WAY less! Remember, it only cost me four dollars for the whole box of chai, and milk is something most people have on hand anyway! Have fun experimenting! I hope everybody had a great weekend!}
