Why the name ballpoint+pen?

         I don't know..it sounds cute and makes me think of writing. I previously wrote a blog called pincurls and peacoats but after a major shift in my life, I wanted a fresh start and came up with ballpoint+pen...
        

Who the heck is Ali?

         I am 24, recently married, dream of running a crafting business out of my home, but currently sell computers for a living. I love my Lord Jesus Christ and strive to know him more daily. I own WAY to many books and between my husband and I we had formed a library! I drink a lot of coffee...its a must...after 2 years working at Starbucks I was hooked. I have worked in a number of random jobs including hairstylist, counselor, and salesperson. Some days I miss doing hair, other days I miss counseling but I know I am where I am supposed to be so I am content and happy with my life. Praise the Lord!
          

What are your favorite crafting materials?

          more that anything I love to embroider by hand...I want to begin doing freehand machine embroidery soon. SO I love embroidery hoops and thread. I also like to scrapbook some, create chunky pieces of jewelry..especially wooden beads...pretty much a little of everything. This may sound weird but I would include my macbook as a favorite crafting material! I use it the most!
